The unmanned aviation industry, as a strategic emerging industry, is developing and changing rapidly. On the 25th, as one of the important contents of the Air Force Aviation Open Event and Changchun Air Show, the 2nd China Civil UAS Development International Forum with the theme of "Innovation and Practice Lead the Development of UAS" opened in Changchun. Lyu Erxue, Vice Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, Wu Jingping, Vice Governor of Jilin, and Ma Yanfeng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Changchun, attended the opening ceremony of the Forum.

The Forum is sponsored by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, organized by Changchun Municipal People's Government and China Air Transport Association, and co-organized by the China General Aviation Association, Jilin UAV Industry Association and Changchun UAV Industry Association.

On the site, expert representatives from many countries and organizations, special guests from the National Air Traffic Control Committee, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and other relevant ministries and commissions, experts and scholars from UAV manufacturing enterprises, operating enterprises, research institutes and social organizations in various provinces and autonomous regions gathered at the Forum to make wonderful speeches on the topic of long-term sustainable development of civil unmanned aviation and conduct extensive exchanges on hot topics in the industry.

Focusing on safety and development, this Forum will conduct full exchanges and discussions on such issues as how to establish and improve UAV regulations and standards, how to strengthen cooperative supervision of UAVs, and how to promote the policy guidance of healthy progress of the industry, etc., and focus on displaying relevant policies, regulations and standards of China's UAVs, and demonstrating the innovative development, application achievements and development routes of airworthiness, operation, personnel qualification, air traffic service and technology application, so as to promote the coordinated and safe development of global unmanned aviation and traditional aviation industry.

The Forum is not only an ideological collision and a top-level event in the field of civil unmanned aviation in China, but also a valuable opportunity for Changchun to accelerate the development of the aviation industry. In recent years, Changchun has attached great importance to and vigorously promoted the development of the aerospace industry, including the UAV. It has successively built the Aerospace Science and Technology Expo Park, UAV Industrial Park, a number of standard workshops, innovation and entrepreneurship buildings and other major industrial platforms, attracting a number of high-tech enterprises in the aerospace field to settle in Changchun, and cultivating the only unicorn enterprise in northeast China. At present, the number of UAV enterprises in Changchun has taken the lead in northeast China.

At the opening ceremony of the Forum, the participating leaders and guests awarded the second batch of pilot zones for unmanned aerial vehicles, unveiled the plate for Jilin UAV Industry Association, and jointly signed the Changchun Aviation Industrial Park project.
