On March 28, the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone launched the event of "going global" and opened an 8-day event of Korean-Japanese "Investment Week" to dock the projects for negotiation and deepen exchanges and cooperation with Korea and Japan.

In December 2022, Jilin Province organised economic and trade missions to visit South Korea, Japan, Russia and other countries to carry out economic and trade exchanges. As an important platform for Jilin Province's cooperation with Korea, the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone developed negotiation and cooperation with government agencies, business associations such as the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Corporation, the Korea-China Association for the Promotion of Science, Technology and Culture, and well-known Korean companies such as LG Chemical and SK. In this event, the China-Korea Demonstration Zone once again "goes to the world", aiming to deepen cooperation with Korea and Japan and promote the investment of foreign-owned enterprises in Jilin, so as to help Jilin Province to build a hub of cooperation in Northeast Asia.

At the promotion meeting for Korean projects' docking with China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone held on March 29, Xu Yong, Secretary of Party Working Committee of China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone, said that by seizing the opportunities such as RCEP, the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone will continuously optimize the business environment and build a more magnetic investment attraction area that is oriented to the Northeast Asia region, and it has introduced 26 concrete measures to strengthen the support, like "permission for the work and residence of foreigners" and "one desk for all affairs".

It is reported that for the economic and trade exchange activities in the next, the China-ROK (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone will also contact and dock with Korean and Japanese business associations, financial institutions and enterprise groups to attract more overseas-funded enterprises to make investment and arrangement, so as to continuously promote new breakthroughs in cooperation with Korea and Japan.
