The Changchun Ice and Snow Wonderland, the most fantastic and artistic complex of ice and snow in town, was opened at the Changchun World Sculpture Park on December 28, 2021. 

On the two sides of the central axis from the east gate to the main entrance gate in the west gate of the Changchun World Sculpture Park there are sculptures for light show, star avenue, international ice sculpture competition, snow sculpture competition for college students that stand in order as a gorgeous feast of light, shadow and ice and snow for the visitors. 

Along the outer ring road of the sculpture park, the sculptures of 4th Sculpture and Ice-Snow Creative Integration Competition are exhibited. Being two kinds of elements, sculpture and ice and snow react with one another and create a different kind of aesthetic conception and artistic experience. 

In the east of the sculpture park, there is big place totaling more than 100,000 square meters for ice and snow entertainment facilities including Winter Olympic slide, ice and snow amusement park for kids and terrace slide, more than 20 entertainment programs such as touch ball, snow motorcycle, snow rotator and small tank as well as a holographic projection technology show of three themes of “Aerospace, Winter Olympics and New year” highlighted through a big globe with a diameter of 10 meters.

Ice piers up to 18 meters high, large snow sculptures combined with 14 colorful slideways, ice bar, ice wall for picture taking, real machine armor performance and other popular exhibits make the visitors too busy to attend to them all.

Insiders say 100,000 cubic meters of snow has so far been made, 10,000 cubic meters of ice used, exhibition of ice and snow sculptures, art shows, foods and many other contents were integrated as an effort to create such a wonderland in the urban area of Changchun City.
